Questions & Answers
How fast will this recharge AAA batteries?
Depending on the size of the battery capacity: AAA 700 mAh will charge for approximately 4 hours. AAA 800 mAh will charge for approximately 4 hours. AAA 900 mAh will charge for approximately 5 hours.
When and why do you need to discharge your batteries?
The TN438 comes with an optional refresh cycle. This is to fully discharge and charge the cells to extend their overall lifespan and performance. For our NiMH/NiCD batteries in general, we recommend cycling the batteries at least every 2-6 months to keep them active.
Will this work with lithium rechargeable batteries?
This charger only works with NIMH and NiCd batteries. The charger does NOT work with lithium or Li-ion batteries.
